Godsey Ag

Precision Ag Services

Currently, there is a gap between the technology and the follow-up support to implement the technology in a way that improves profitability. The biggest reason for this gap is that in many cases employees of companies that offer precision ag services are not fully trained and do not understand the concepts to maximize inputs and increase profitability. We bring knowledge of the current precision ag technologies being used in the industry today as well as a thorough understanding of agronomy and the role of farming in today’s world. In addition, we are dedicated to seeing things through to the end and will help you evaluate prescriptions at the end of the year to determine a plan of action for future growing seasons. We do not sell inputs so our recommendations are based on the probability of crop response and increasing profitability.

A majority of our services are centered on understanding and using past yield monitor data, however; we can do a lot with producer knowledge, soils map, elevation, etc. Fully utilizing all the available data is the critical part of the process.

What you can expect:

  • Work one-on-one with you to determine your needs and help recommend precision agriculture technologies that will benefit your operation the most.
  • Work with you from start to finish helping create and evaluate prescriptions to improve your bottom line.
  • Work with you each growing season to make improvements on the last season.
  • Focus is given to three of the largest cost inputs: seed, fertilizer, and irrigation (when applicable).

Pricing

Everyone is at a different stage of adoption when it comes to precision agricultural technologies. For this reason pricing depends on level of service requested. We do not offer “cookie-cutter” approaches to precision ag, every client receives a customized package depending on their needs. We do have a tiered pricing system in that the more services requested the better the overall deal. Also, as acres increase the price per acre decreases. Please contact us at 405-334-2297 or email at chad.godsey@godseyag.com to discuss price packages.

Other Services:

Aerial Imagery – Can be used for in-season monitoring or verification of prescriptions. Also, images can be used as a layer in decision making for coming years. For example, images can be used to help delineate disease areas or poor drainage areas. Resolution can be ordered from 0.5 m to 5 m depending on the objective.

No-till Consulting – Consulting is available for producers transitioning to a no-till system or for those more experienced producers. We will work with you to develop a holistic management plan based on your system goals.

We are willing to work with any producer to come up with a precision ag package that fits their needs. We are actively involved in a lot of on-farm research projects so if you have an idea that you want to try and implement we can help you get that idea to the field!
